1. Post & Pay Scale:
1.1. I-IV, V-VIII, IX-X, XI-XII

2. Vacancies:
2.1 Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 1729 vacancies.

3. Reservation: As per Govt order.

4. Age Limit (As on 01-01-2023):
General Category: 21-40 years (i.e., not born BETWEEN 01.01.1983 – 01.01.2002).  SC/ST/PH (Disability 40% & above) Candidates: 21-45 years (i.e., not born BETWEEN 01.01.1978 – 01.01.2002)  OBC Candidates: 21-40 years (i.e., not born BETWEEN 01.01.1980 – 01.01.2002)

5. Essential Educational Qualifications : 

I-IV	Passed Fazil / Higher Secondary with Arabic as an elective subject with 50% marks along-with D.El.Ed. / B.Ed
V-VIII	Graduate or Post Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed./2 – year D.El.Ed. or Graduate or Post Graduate with 45% marks with B.Ed. before 29.07.2011.
IX-X	i)    Graduate or Post Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed. or Graduate or Post Graduate with 45% marks with B.Ed. before 29.07.2011. ii) Studied 300 marks in concerned subject
XI-XII	Post Graduate in concerned subject with 50% marks with B.Ed., or, Post Graduate in concerned subject with 45% marks with B.Ed. before 29.07.2011.

     * Candidates, after passing TET will have to sit for Main Examination.

5.1. I-IV  Eligibility: Passed Fazil / Higher Secondary with Arabic as an elective subject with 50% marks along-with D.El.Ed. / B.Ed. 
5.2  Eligibility: Graduate or Post Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed./2 – year D.El.Ed. or Graduate or Post Graduate with 45% marks with B.Ed. before 29.07.2011. 
5.3 The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualifications on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01-08-2023.

6. How to apply:
6.1 Applications must be submitted in online mode only through the wbmsc.com.
6.2 Requirement for online application —- Aadhaar No, 10th / 10+2 / UG / PG details, scanned recent colour photograph in JPEG format, signature in JPEG format (10-20 KB, 4cmx2cm).
6.3. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check through Preview/ Print option that they have filled correct details in each field of the form.
6.5. Examination Fees (TET & Subject) is Rs. 500/- for candidates belonging to General/SC/ST/OBC category and Rs.250/- for candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped (PH) category.
